One of Umeĺ's most popular attractions is Umedalen Sculpture, where you can see lots of beautiful and thought-provoking sculptures. Over 150 artists have been since the park opened in 1994 exhibited his work. More than 30 works included in the permanent exhibition and among them is art by Chrlotte Gyllenhammar, David Wretling and Louise Bourgeois. The park was in 2005 named Sweden's best park of the National Housing Board.

Previous Studies in Art History at Umeĺ University, Ivar Torneus and yterligare a number of other knowledgeable art historian, will lead visitors through the park and talk about what there is to see. The gallery Andersson Sandström, which organizes these views, and those who want to end the culture of the round with refreshments in the restaurant car park on the field. Run E12 westwards from Umeĺ Centre (6 km), turn left and follow signs. Or take bus No. 1 to Umedalen, the stop is called "Joy alley".
